While we can get the same kind of apples at D&W, Meijer, and Family Fare, a home inspection is nothing like an apple.   How a home is inspected varies from inspection company to inspection company.  One of our guys, upon receiving training from us, was blown away by how much more we do than his former inspection company (a national franchise) ever did.  We have the training, equipment, and will go where no inspector has gone before to do the job right for you.  What kind of inspection is done on your furnace?  Does it require only a look with a flashlight, or should the carbon monoxide be checked and other testing be done?  If the crawl space is accessible, should the inspector go in, or just shine his light and check it that way?
